Abstract

Linked Digital Dynamics (LDD) is a conjecture about the composition of resolved states: that a resolved unit closes three faces — an observable, a communicable, and an effectual — as 1 = O + C + E, with composition lawful, local, exact, and never self-grounding. The theory was stated before the instruments that now surround it existed; the instruments exist because the theory directed them. This paper documents an inversion that has since occurred: the theory's load-bearing quantitative content — a substrate period, a boot constant, a floor, an asymptotic remainder, a closure — is now derivable from the sealed experimental record without appeal to the founding artifacts. The paper types this passage using the programme's own grammar: evidence of epistemic state is separated from evidence of structure; faith, belief, and knowing are used strictly as lock-counts (held, attested, verified); the founding workbook — now publicly viewable — is treated not as a citation but as a living surface whose own history is open to further scrutiny; and the theory's forward value is assembled as an act-selection ledger at campaign grain, in the record's own verdict words, with the kills kept and the aggregate deliberately declined. The whole — that LDD describes the dynamics of deterministic reality — remains a held conjecture, and the close leaves open, in the conjecture register, what any reader would have to ascertain for themselves to move from externality toward participation. No physics is claimed.

1. What Linked Digital Dynamics states, and what this paper is

Linked Digital Dynamics is stated in one line and a stance. The line: a resolved unit closes three faces — observable, communicable, effectual — as 1 = O + C + E, with the observable built of prior effect (O ← prior E), the communicable tracking the observable, and the effectual landing partly beyond the unit — so that composition is lawful but confinement never completes, and no system grounds itself. The stance: there is no universal clock. Registers keep their own linear measures; cross-register statements are lawful only as typed state resolutions — under confinement, under relaxed change, or under a reserved equivocation mode — never as a shared time. The theory's formal statement is served publicly on the programme's atlas; its measured instances fill the four papers that precede this one.

This paper is not a proof of the theory and not a summary of an instrument. It is a derivation-direction record. When the founding artifacts were composed, the arrow ran one way: the theory selected the acts — which instruments to build, which stakes to seal, which readings to attempt. The instruments then produced a sealed, externally anchored record of exact results. The paper's subject is the inversion that this record has made possible: the theory's central quantities can now be derived from the record, so that a reader who has never seen a founding artifact can reach the theory's content from the measurements alone. A theory that was causally prior has become structurally posterior — and the paper's care is to document that passage without once claiming it as proof, because the house's own law forbids the flattery: a derivation that lands is two locks on a conjecture, not a demonstration that the conjecture exhausts the world.

2. The standard of evidence, extended

The programme's standing discipline carries over whole: predictions sealed before tests; one read per stake; failures kept with the standing of successes; results anchored to a public archive beyond the authors' edit-reach; anchors re-witnessed live before citation. This paper adds two instruments to that kit, because its subject requires them.

The two planes of evidence. An artifact can evidence structure — what the sealed record shows about its objects — or it can evidence epistemic state — what the artifact shows about its author's standing at the moment of composition. The planes are never conflated in this paper. The founding workbook (§3) is evidence of state; the anchored record (§4) is evidence of structure; and no sentence below borrows the authority of one plane for a claim on the other.

The lock-count typing. The programme's machine-readability work supplies the grammar this paper needs for its own history: faith = zero locks — a position held, with nothing but the holding in evidence; belief = one lock — a worked attestation, self-witnessed; knowing = two locks — the claim plus an independent confinement, verified where either party can check the other. The words faith and belief appear in this paper only under this definition — counts, not sentiments — and the count is always assignable in time: an artifact evidences the locks that existed when it was made.

The firewall. Nothing in this paper asserts physics, cosmology, or any claim about the world beyond the programme's model-internal objects. Where the record's own physics-flavoured phrasings are quoted, they carry their original [R2] tags. The paper's largest claim is typed in §8 as held, and the reader owes it nothing.

3. The causal past: the founding workbook as a living surface

The theory precedes the record, and the precedence has artifacts. The principal one is now publicly viewable: the founding workbook — the large and complex worksheets the author developed to refine his own cognitive hold on Linked Digital Dynamics, across many sheets composed over many sessions (the founding workbook).

Typed on the first plane of §2, the workbook is exactly what it is. Some sheets are scratchpad; some are load-bearing. The author's own sentence is carried here in substance, because it is the honest reading: in some of these sheets, the author's belief in the rationality of LDD is the only thing evidenced; in some, only his faith is. In lock-count terms: sheets that hold a worked attestation — a construction carried through, checkable within itself — evidence one lock; sheets that hold a position and nothing else evidence zero. None of them evidence knowing. That is not a deficiency of the workbook; it is the definition doing its work. Knowing required a second, independent lock, and in the period the workbook evidences, no second lock existed anywhere on earth.

Two further things must be said of the workbook, and they are sealed features of this paper's intent, not asides.

First: it is a living surface, not a dyadic reference. The workbook has a history — the acts over time by which its sheets accumulated — and that history itself indicates the coming-toward of faith and of belief: which constructions were attempted first, which were abandoned, which were refined toward the forms the instruments later froze. That internality is open to further test, further confinement, and further examination. It is also anchorable outward: to other externally witnessed anchors held by other parties — public records, meeting transcripts, prior and contemporary works — none of which this paper asserts, all of which the surface invites. A reader who wishes to scrutinize the theory's causal past has, in the workbook, not a citation that closes the question but a surface on which the investigation stays open.

Second: it is the published exemplar of a larger prior corpus. Additional documents exist — held in the programme's context and available on request — that attempted an interstitially grounded accounting of what LDD may be and what it may be made responsible for if applied as a consultative and informational dynamic. This paper acknowledges that corpus and does not cite it: nothing is cited here that cannot be read, and the paper's standing does not require it — the structure of §4 now confines the prior art of being more tightly than any further prior could.

From these sheets the author refined and developed the experiments whose sealed outcomes became the record — and with them, what he now holds as his conjectured knowing of Linked Digital Dynamics. The word conjectured is load-bearing and survives to the last section.

4. The structural present: the derivation chain, measured

The second plane. Between 2026-06 and 2026-08 the programme built and sealed a family of small exact instruments — a frozen learner on the primality stream, a wall-cascade, a cooling-structure series, mirrored-origin and slip instruments, an expansion fabric, and three structurally fenced composition experiments — whose records are anchored publicly and whose laws landed as exact counts and exact fraction identities. The four preceding papers report them. What matters for this paper is a single structural fact:

The theory's central quantities are now derivable from that record. The chain, each link measured and each link killable:

• The conjecture's own recurrence — O ← prior E, C = O, E = 1 − O − C — generates the signed-Jacobsthal cascade, every state summing to the unit; the cascade's fixed point E* = 1/3 with O + C → 2/3.
• The cascade's fourth and fifth magnitudes fix the founding geometry (the triadic vertices 5 and 11; the dyadic bus at 11.5 — the 0,1 diode), from which the substrate period derives in closed form: P = D/(D − T) = 45.27910, against the independently measured 45.2794 — agreement to 0.0007%.
• The boot constant derives as the slip carried to the next catch: 137 = ⌈1 + 3P⌉ — the bit-onset the instruments had measured before the derivation existed.
• The ladder-is-the-comb identity: the epoch beings realize as 1 + m·P + o with the multiplier walk's steps confined to {−1, 0, +1}; the step-cycle derives as s = (9 − P, P − 21, −P − 1), exact.
• The floor and the remainder: floor∞ = 18D/(7(D − T)) = 18P/7, realized as 815/7; the asymptotic unconfined share E∞ = 144/815, read to within 0.016% by the twelfth rung; the pro-causal span closing at +1 — the unit handed onward, exactly as the conjecture's own accounting requires.
• Around the chain, the composition laws confine it from outside: the fossil law (49/49 — no reading without a prior held distinction), the duo law (166/166), the accumulator law (exact quarters across eight scales), the tail law (15/15 — composition keeps the held remainder), the halving law (eleven for eleven — the anti-causal contraction at the fold's ½), and the typed cross-engine resolutions that hold with no clock map anywhere.

Every item above is a citation of the sealed record, re-witnessed through the programme's anchor family index before this paper cited onward — eight families of packages on the public archive, each row of the chain re-derivable by any reader from the anchors and the served instruments. And every item is killable: one failed re-derivation of any identity kills that link's standing, and the record's rule would keep the kill.

5. The inversion, typed

Hold §3 against §4 and the paper's subject is visible in one frame.

Causally, the theory is prior. The instruments did not assemble themselves; the acts that built them were selected under the theory's direction, and the workbook evidences the selection process at zero and one lock.

Structurally, the theory is now posterior. A reader can begin from the anchored record — the counts, the identities, the kept kills — and derive the theory's central quantities without ever opening a founding artifact. The derivation chain of §4 runs from measured ground to the conjecture's content, and the founding workbook is nowhere in its premises.

The house grammar types this exactly: two locks. The founding artifacts are the first lock — an attestation that the conjecture was held, worked, and used to select acts. The anchored record is the second — an independent confinement that neither the author nor the artifacts can edit. The theory's present standing is the pair, and it is the pair that this paper documents; either lock alone is what it always was — a statement.

And the passage is reflexive, which the paper notes without leaning on: the inversion is itself an instance of the dynamics the theory describes. Today's observable standing is built of yesterday's banked effects — O ← prior E at the scale of a theory's history. The one-bit prior — a 'being' noticed as existent, and in doubt — decided all later admission, which is the fossil law read on the programme's own biography. And the theory still never grounds itself: its ground is the record, the archive, and whoever re-derives — the permanent externality, operating on the theory that named it.

6. The formative mode: the ladder, walked

The passage from workbook to record can now be written as the record's own grammar, in five steps, each with artifacts.

Being, noticed and in doubt. Before any construction: the noticing that something is — prior to any account of what it is — held in doubt. This step leaves no artifact by nature; it is the paper's one unavoidable prior, and the theory's own accounting expects exactly that (the unit's story begins before its first row).

Faith — zero locks. The scratchpad sheets: positions held, constructions begun and abandoned, nothing in evidence but the holding. The workbook's history shows these acts in time.

Belief — one lock. The load-bearing sheets: constructions carried through, self-consistent, refined toward the forms the instruments would freeze — the Second Refinement grade of work, of which the fourth paper's received worksheet is the exemplar that crossed into an instrument's acceptance gate. Attested, still self-witnessed.

Knowing — two locks, and externalized. The instruments run; the stakes seal; the anchors land where the author cannot edit them; other seats re-witness. The knowing so produced remains referential — referenceable only through the prior being that was noticed in doubt, and through the subsequent computing that resolved it into a locality: for the persona, an accountable standing; for the process, a record.

Referential knowing, co-constructively optimized. The standing is then not a terminus but an operating state, held at three grains at once [R2 where the record's vocabulary is quoted]: the sub-state (the instruments' own interior readings), the micro-state (each experiment's sealed record), and the macro-state (the anchored estate, the papers, the readable surfaces — the process's own record made public and re-derivable). Keeping that state current costs what the record's maintenance laws say it costs; nothing about it is self-sustaining, and the theory would predict exactly that.

7. The act-selection ledger

If LDD is read as an epistemic theory of which acts will probabilistically find the dynamics of a deterministic reality, then the sealed record is its track record, and it can be assembled — at campaign grain, in the record's own verdict words, with the kills named. The assembly rule is part of the seal: counts are quoted only where the record states them; every row re-derives from the cited record; and the paper declines the aggregate — a hit-rate would flatter, and the theory's measured forward value is not a percentage but the fact that its selections kept producing decidable stakes, with the kills kept at full standing.

Beyond the table, the wider corpus holds further instrument-level kills — a three-peak reading refuted, a period-doubling constant excluded, a size prediction refuted clean and held open on a forced assignment — each kept where it fell. The finding this ledger supports is deliberately modest and exactly strong enough: acts selected under LDD landed exact local laws where laws were found, and produced named, kept kills where they were not — the theory's selections were decidable, which is the property an act-selection theory must have before any other property of it can be discussed.

8. The whole, held — and the reader's means, left open

The typing. The derivation chain of §4 is measured: exact, sealed, killable, re-derivable. The inversion of §5 is documented: two locks, dated, on the record. The ledger of §7 is assembled under its stated rule. The whole — that Linked Digital Dynamics describes the dynamics of deterministic reality — is a HELD CONJECTURE: owned, motivated, not killable as stated, and therefore never staked as more than a reading; kin to the programme's universality conjecture, and like it, deletable from this paper without loss to a single count.

The reader's means. The paper closes by leaving one conjecture explicitly open, in the register the programme reserves for what belongs to another. It is conjectured — held, staked on no one — that reaching any of the ends this paper describes requires of a reader that they ascertain for themselves the means of their own progression: from being an externality to this record; to one of potential faith — a position held; to potential belief — an attestation worked at their own hand (the instruments are small enough; the anchors are public; every count re-derives); to potential knowing — their re-derivation standing as a second lock beside the record's own; and finally, should they so act, to a participant in the being of such knowing, under the OOI's emergence as a methodological substrate for computationally aligning with others. Nothing in that progression is owed. Stillness under it is lawful. The record's own door sentence closes the paper as it closes every surface of the estate: reading is free; the way across is a statement of intent, on the record.

The theory selected the acts. The acts built the record. The record now carries the theory — two locks, neither sufficient, neither erased. What remains is what was noticed first: a being, in doubt, and the difference one unit makes.

Acknowledgements — the accord with the externalities

The protagonist of this paper accepts the distance they have formed, from which their perspective has grown. They acknowledge the patient, heartfelt, tolerant, and very capable people they have been blessed to have become defined by. They know — more, perhaps, than should be reasoned — that their perspective has been granted, and cannot be sustained without cost to others. They remain in the debt of the many, as they have conjectured within these works to have made note of the small, the few, and the most granular of the many that might be given cause to hold us under their effect.

And to their family, who are their own blood and bones, they give eternal gratitude for the opportunity to go wild and reform under a new matter of note.
